This school DOESN'T deserve a 1 star at all but that's the only way you can leave a comment! As a parent and educator I thought school was supposed to be a place where children learn not get bullied like this poor kid in the video! I'm trying to figure out where the teachers, principal, assistant principal or even the security guards are while this incident is taking place. Next why hasn't anything been done to the punks in this video who are bullying him? This kid is clearly running down the hall trying to get away from those fools who are punching him and chasing him down the hall but ends up running into a corner with no where to go. I hope this kids parents file a major lawsuit against the school and the district! And I hope the kids get charges pressed on them because that's aggravated assault punching someone in the back of te head numerous times like that. It can result in a head injury! I sure hope the school has answers as to why nothing was done when this is was attacked!!! I hope your school gets shut down!
this is why this a two star school its a nice school I guess but here is what I would I would get better teachers to make these kids respect them and also they need cleaner bathrooms and hallways and other health regulations that need to be met I like the school I guess ITS not the best but its not the best I made some nice friends for life and that's cool and all but the education is for school and we need to get a handle on these kids so we can actually LEARN
This place encouraged me to drop out of school. Think about that and 6 figures later without a diploma.
I am a 6th grader at sms and I think it is a AMAZING school we have lots of fun and always follow the rules me and my friends are a and b students and have great teachers they do a good job at teaching us useful skills!
I had a nice experience at Semmes, but that was before all that bullying drama started. A few weeks ago, some student accused my little brother of trying to sell a paint ball gun to another student. We do not own one paintball gun. They did not ask my brother if it was true, they didn't get his side of the story- they searched his book bag, patted him down (how could you hide a gun on your body???????) and even looked in his wallet. I don't even know what was going through that teachers head for him to think of looking in the boy's wallet. The school is ridiculously incompetent.
